Hull Cartridge needed to stand out at the annual Game Fair – the lead event for those interested in countryside pursuits.
We worked with the client to design a bespoke virtual shoot experience to boost their event presence and encourage interaction. By immersing ourselves in the client’s industry we were able to replicate shoot conditions to make the experience as realistic as possible. The tool went down incredibly well and attracted many visitors to the stand.

The Brief
Hull Cartridge is one of the biggest names in UK shooting. They approached us when they were looking for a unique way to showcase their products and help customers understand the range of cartridges available.
The aim was to stand out at the annual Game Fair – the lead gathering for those interested in countryside pursuits. The challenge was to be memorable to the 120,000 attendees and stand out from the 800 other exhibitors at the event.
The Concept
We worked with Hull Cartridge to design a bespoke virtual reality shooting experience. The VR hunting simulator had to resonate with customers and at the same time help the client showcase their industry expertise and product offering.
As part of our research process, we immersed ourselves in the client’s industry, enabling us to fine-tune the concept to replicate shoot conditions as closely as possible. This included specific features such as:
The concept was tested and refined prior to the event, ensuring the best user experience and clear and simple instructions. Ahead of the launch, Clay10 provided training to the full team at Hull Cartridge to ensure the event was a success.
The Outcome
The virtual experience proved incredibly popular at the exhibition, attracting visitors to the stand and helping the client stand out from the crowd. The tool will be used at future events to help Hull Cartridge maintain their market-leading reputation in UK shooting.
