The long story short

Close Brothers approached us having decided to freshen up their e-learning approach by introducing video.

The initial suite of videos has been launched to all Close Brothers Asset Management clients. Having received excellent feedback on the content we delivered, a further set of videos has been produced, including one to support people with financial concerns during the Covid-19 pandemic. After completing a client survey in 2019, this financial suite helped Close Brothers achieve a +95 Net promoter score, with 93% customer satisfaction.

The Brief

With over 1.9 billion people using YouTube each month, it isn’t surprising that 72% of people will choose to watch a video over reading text. That’s why Close Brothers decided to deliver their latest suite of financial education tools using Clay10’s 3D animation studio.

The client’s main objective was to make their complex subject matter as relatable and engaging as possible, to make it easier for the viewer to absorb the information and increase employee financial wellness.

The Solution

Based on the client's objectives, we created a memorable 3D animation with bespoke characters designed to help the audience connect with them. The scenes provide familiar surroundings and relatable analogies, making the information engaging and easy to absorb.

Close Brothers now have a strong and effective video toolkit, which is regularly updated with high-quality content that is turned around quickly, including a recent video designed to reduce financial anxiety in relation to Covid-19. This quick turnaround has allowed Close Brothers to remain reactive, topical and relevant in their market, delivering effective financial wellness content.

The Close Brothers e-learning platform hosts videos for employees to watch at a time that suits them – at work or at home. This flexibility has allowed Close Brothers to provide services tailored to consumer need, keeping up with the changing ways in which people are absorbing content.

The Outcome

The initial suite of financial education videos has been launched to all Close Brothers Asset Management clients.
