As a digital business we rely heavily on electricity to keep us up and running, powering rows of monitors, computers and servers, as well as the all-important coffee machine! But we are very aware of the impact all this energy consumption has on our planet.
This is why we are so proud to be based in the ERGO centre near Hull, which acts as a hub for renewables and environmental technologies in the heart of the energy estuary. Here businesses, universities and local authorities work together to support the growth of the renewable energy sector in this area.
This Saturday (30th March from 8.30pm) we are doing our small part for #EarthHour, ensuring every switch and socket is turned off for the weekend in the Clay10 office, and in our homes. Earth hour is a global movement set up by WWF to raise awareness of climate change and to spark conversations about the natural world and what we can do to protect it.
